Haviland Limoges French porcelain china serving platter, small
This set was inherited from my mother, who used it for special occasions as I was growing up in the 1950's and '60's. Experts have described it as a vintage (1920’s) gold-rimmed set for special occasions. The beautiful pattern is not a standard factory pattern, so it is thought to have been specially produced for a particular customer. The value of the entire set has been appraised at $2400-2600 at retail. I am listing smaller groups of items in separate entries. I am willing to discuss offers for all or part of the set.
Originally complete with 12 place settings and full serving items, natural wear and tear has led to chipping and breakage. This item has a small chip in the rim (see close-up photo) and the price is reduced accordingly.
