An English majolica Begonia plate, maker unknown, circa 1870-1880, multiples available.
Beautiful, bold glazing with bright green rims. The centers show a pattern of raised mold work, mimicking the crinkling and veining found on a begonia leaf.

In very good antique condition.
A short, stable hairline, from the rim, to one plate. The remaining plates are without issue.
