This lovely and stunning water pitcher stands just under 11 inches tall, and weighs 7 lbs 8 oz. It has all the markings of an American Brilliant Tankard Water Jug, that include the imperfect rougher and deeper sawtooth spout with smooth back and front as well as the larger 12- and 16-point stars. The pinwheels spin to the right, and it has the traditional four rows of notches underneath the lip of the smooth spout. It holds 7 cups or 56 oz of liquid. There are 9 set of pinches on the hand-blown handle as well as a thumb rest. The crystal is clear and has a solid base that is. 75 inches thick. This is a lovely pattern, with many reflective cut prisms that shine and Glissen. There are many like this that I found researching from the Libbey/American Brilliant era, Antique or close to it, the only difference I could identify was many of the pinwheels spun to the left. Which makes this one a rare and hard to find piece.
