VINTAGE HOME is pleased to present this Mid-Century Modern Couroc Tray with Bamboo Branches blowing in the wind inlay. Couroc Trays are unique in their workmanship. Made of a very resilient satin black Bakelite-like resin with designs of hand-inlaid wood, brass, shell and other materials. Produced in Monterey, CA from the 1950s thru the late 1900s. These collector items are getting harder to find. This one features Bamboo branches and leaves designed with wood and brass. It’s larger than most at almost 16” x 11”. Perfect for serving appetizers or drinks. When not in use, it’s a great decor piece with its iconic Mid Century vibe. This tray is one of the companies older offerings from the 1950s as documented because it has no embossed company logo on the backside. In later years, the company embossed their logo in the resin, and the logos typeface changed over the years, documenting when future trays were produced. #110-030
