This two piece set of Art Deco Robeson Shur Edge Cutlery is from the 1930s. The stag-shaped handles are crafted from Bakelite with stainless steel utensils. The Robeson Cutlery Company was started in 1879 in New York. Between 1910-1930, the company was considered one of two best cutlery companies in American and one of the best in the world. They specialized in smaller cutlery sets called pocket cutlery. This set is not a pocket set, but a mid-sized table set. It’s in excellent near-antique condition and a piece of Americana history. 201-019
