Incredible antique 19th century silver-plate covered caviar server with 12 sterling silver spoons. The lid has a parrot on fruit finial. Along the rims is a beaded and leaf design. The caviar is held in a cut crystal bowl. On the outside of the bowl there are holders for 12 spoons. The 12 spoons that come with the piece are sterling silver Reed and Barton Francis. The two cornucopias handles terminate with stylized elk tops. At the base of the bowl is more of the leaf design and along the neck there are grapes and vines. Four dolphins support the bowl with their tails. The dolphins sit on a square base that continues the leaf motif and has ball and claw feet.

There are no marks on the piece. It is silver plate on copper and in some areas you can see the copper coming through. There is also tarnish and some pitting. The circle under the spoon bottom is a tiny bit off-center. One side of the square under the dolphins falls in a little.
