This beautiful vintage wooden salad bowl set is a jaw-dropper, refinished to bring back its original luster and enhance every bit of that gorgeous grain. Includes a large serving bowl and four matching smaller salad bowls, plus two matching salad forks. Forks were curated separately from the set, but match wonderfully and truly complete the collection.
The large serving bowl is 11” wide and 5” tall, small bowls are 6” wide and 3” tall, and forks are 9” long and 4” wide.
Very little information could be found on this set! From what I was able to piece together, this is likely a set of teak bowls from Thailand, most likely from the 1960s - 1970s. (Possibly from B&B Originals) The unique tulip petal-shaped design appears to be quite rare and hard to find. There are a few individual pieces floating around, but I have yet to find even a photograph of the entire set, let alone a listing. This incredible set would make the perfect addition to any mid-century modern loving home!
(Sanded to remove imperfections and signs of wear, finely sanded to close in the wood grain, and oiled with Wise Owl Furniture Tonic to bring back the gorgeous tones and protect it for future use. I recommend a quick re-oiling every six months or more often if used daily.)
