Pretty and pink cake stand created for the Metropolitan Museum of Art by Block Portugal.
This design features tulips from the museum's collection that were first painted by Jacob Marrel in 1635. Plus one butterfly on the base. Base and top are bordered in a deep pink. Measures 11.5" diameter x 4 3/8" high. In excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, stains, or crazing.
