Lot of 5 Blenko Water Carafes in assorted, coordinated colors. Included in this lot are two Tangerine carafes with ohmbre schemes from clear to yellow, orange and red. The colors are rich on both pieces with one transitioning into an unusually deep ruby red. Pieces in Tangerine were made at various years between 1957 and 2005, and these two retain the original silver hand label, which dates them from 2000 to 2005. Also included in the lot is a crystal carafe; crystal has been produced every year sine 1946. There are two in the yellow/gold range. The darker one is in wheat which was produced between 1969 and 1983.The fifth piece in a pale yellow is an off catalog color with unknown manufacturing date.When you first handle a Blenko carafe/decanter/vase you will notice how pleasing and comfortable in your hand.All pieces are in very good condition.

The Blenko water carafe was originally designed by Winslow Anderson, the renowned Blenko designer from 1947-1954 and it has become a classic for Blenko. They have continued to produce the now classic water carafe, in different colors in specific years. They are popular with collectors.
