Fornasetti Improbable Beautiful Soup Toad Recipe made for Fleming Joffe a leather goods company in NYC. These plates were given to their clients for a New Year’s Gift. Designed by Piero Fornasetti a very imaginative artist and designer with a whimsical sense of humor. All of the recipes pertain to the leathers they used in manufacturing. This Toad has opened a Tureen and a little frog is trying to escape out of the soup.

This plate is in black and gold. Measures approximately 10 inches in diameter. Fully marked on the back.
