Crafted in France, circa 1970, the antique liquor cave is shaped like three antique books stacked together; one titled "La Legende des Siecles" by Victor Hugo, the next one "Mes Memoires" by Alexandre Dumas, and the last one "Deux ans de Vacances" by Jules Verne. When you lift the top, the Tantalus reveals an interior with glass compartment dressed with six molded old fashion glass tumblers. The faux book box is in excellent condition with a rich patinated leather finish and gilt tooling; a fine accessory for a wet bar or a gentleman's study! Each glass is 3.5"H
