Pretty set of six (6) vintage 1960s bronzeware and rosewood cocktail forks from Sam E. Jeweller in Thailand. Brand new, still in plastic packaging and original red box. Praying Buddha design on top of front handle. Perfect for a cheese plate or charcuterie board, seafood/oyster fest, or condiments like pickles and olives.

Bronzeware, which was very popular in the 1950s and 1960s, is made from a nickel-bronze alloy of copper, aluminum and non-precious metals formulated into an aluminum bronze. Many mid-century flatware and home décor designers made their pieces from Bronzeware in Southeast Asia, so you will see maker marks noting Thailand or formerly Siam as place of origin. Bronzeware is superior to other aluminum bronzes in that it oxidizes less and the color is the same throughout all surface levels of the piece. Plus it’s just absolutely stunning when polished and gleaming!
