Home Tableware & Barware | Mid 20th Century Harpswell House of Maine Attributed Phillip Lloyd Powell-Style Slate and Walnut Square Trivet VS62462

Very nice 8" square slate and walnut trivet by Harpswell House of Maine. This design is often attributed to a collaboration in design by Paul Evans and Phillip Lloyd Powell. The piece is made from two pieces of 1,000,000plus year old granite from Maine and a piece of oiled walnut. The trivet is raised on 4 pads. The Harpswell House foil label has been lost. So this is an attribution. Excellent condition.
Included are a few other Harpswell House items we have listed including two square slate clocks (also 1,000,000 plus years old). Time pieces before there was time. Also, three smaller trivets, one 6" in diameter and two 6" square of slate and walnut and a pair of slate and walnut bookends.
There is a set of Evans & Powell salt and pepper shakers that we have sold previously.
