Home Tableware & Barware | Mid 19th Century Wedgwood Jasperware Dip Tea Set - 4 Pieces IS39039

This tea set in Wedgwood's "Brewster" pattern appears to date from the mid-1860's. Brewster is a rare pattern at the best of times, and it's quite unusual to find a complete set in such good condition as this. The marmalade pots are almost never found with their original silver lids.

There are no cracks, breaks or restorations visible under the black light. There are some very tiny and perfectly acceptable flakes and rub marks - none readily visible - and some internal discoloration from frequent use. I believe the light staining is food and tea stains which will bleach out easily, should that be preferred. less
