Early Jens Quistgaard 802 Denmark Rails and Feet 23 1/2" Long Serving Surfboard Wood Tray

This is a fabulous icon of mid-century design: the staved teak #802tray by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk, originally created in 1956.

This is an early piece from the 1960s, marked on the bottom with the Four Duck logo, as shown in the photo. The mark further reads: “Dansk Designs Denmark, IHQ”.

The elongated oval board is sometimes referred to as the ‘Surfboard’ tray.
