What a lovely way to have a cuppa!This pre-loved totally functional teapot is a pleasure to behold (and a pleasure to hold).Hand painted with elaborate designs in relief- you can feel the generous application of white, tourquise and gold paint (or liquid clay).This exquisite piece measures 7.5 in from lid to small footed bottom and 8.5 in from spout to handle across. The gold trim around the top of the piece is worn from use and a little faded, which makes it more intriguing ( to me it screams VINTAGE).The bottom has a number, perhaps a manufacturer's number?There is a story here and you can continue with yours! Cost includes S/H, carefully packaged - it is decades old - we can't break it now...
