Antique Georgian sterling silver berry spoon with a gold wash repoussé.Made in England, circa 1809, this old world pattern makes an elegant addition to any tablescape with its ornate scalloped, lightly gold washed repoussé bowl of fruit.The wheat sheaves in the crest at the tip of the handle are part of the Civic Heraldry of the County of Cheshire and also relate to the manorial history of the town. They occur in the arms of the Vernon and Leftwich families as well as those of the Earls of Chester. Weight is 54 grams.
