Home Tableware & Barware | 1980s Couzon Stainless Steel Fish-Shaped Serving Platter VY42806

This is a long (35") stainless steel (18/10) serving tray and platter in the shape of a fish from the French gourmet product line of Jean Couzon, circa late 1970s, early 1980s. As quirky and unusual as it may seem, have to confess that I used the platter on my dresser to display my perfume collection for many years, and it has since been sitting on the dining table as a centerpiece ornament. I suppose one could also hang it on the wall or lean it on a shelf, or even display it on a bookshelf in a coastal or nautical-themed home. Obviously it is intended for serving fish and vegetable sides, or a sampling of sushi, or as a tray for serving hearty bowls of bouillabaisse, but that's what's so wonderful about it.

The photos are taken in outdoor sunlight and the stainless steel reflects me with the camera, as well as the trees and fence, etc. less
