Vintage 1960s Veuve Clicquot Champagne bucket. Engraved on both sides with V. Clicquot Ponsardin. Per current trends it has been left with "as found" patina. Purchased in Paris. It is a rare ice bucket, commemorating Madame Clicquot Ponsardin. In 1818, she invented the first known blended rosé champagne by blending still red and white wines, a process still used by the majority of champagne producers. Decorative lion's head "doorknocker" handles.
