A very high quality 18th century Fitzhugh pattern platter that is in excellent condition.There are no chips, cracks, or any areas of concern.The painting style on this Fitzhugh plate is much better than most, with incredible detail and precision painting.Be sure to notice the beautiful border design, which got progressively less refined on Fitzhugh patterns the further you get from the 18th century.Four varieties of flowers and plants painted around a center medallion with mythical beasts and fruit-like motif in the center. Exquisite hand painted details showcases the fine craftsmanship.
