A vintage 1960s Riihimaki hand-blown amethyst glass flower vase. Tamara Aladin (1932-2019) designed the vase (among a great number of other designs) for the Riihimaki Glass Co. in the early 1960s. This vase has an unusually high waist and a thick and clear base.

The vase stands only 7 1/4 inches tall, is 2 1/2 inches wide, and weighs only 11 ounces. There is an original Riihimaki label adhered to the clear base. In excellent condition with only the slightest hints of wear from previous use and age, and no signs of damage or defects whatsoever.
