Each set is a type of tantalus, cave à liqueur, that was lovingly created by crafts persons. The term "Tantalus" comes from Greek mythology. Tantalus was a mythological figure and king who greatly offended Zeus. Zeus punished Tantalus by making him stand in a pool of water beneath a fruit tree with low branches, with the fruit ever eluding his grasp, and the water always receding before he could take a drink. So, too, this Tantalus makes the liquor out of reach.. We are delighted to present these unique sets.
