This outstanding mid 19th c. set of 6 Bohemian historismus armorial glass and enamel wine goblets will make it feel like medieval times at your dining table. The vibrant green blown glass is in the style of Anton Ambros Egermann and feature colorful hand painted designs with raised enamel accents and prunts. Each goblet showcases a slightly different design with a helmet atop a circular shape with a lion, shield, bird, cross, mythological creature and simple red and white stripes (from left to right). The goblet body is raised atop a 5 tier stem with applied prunts around the first tier and hand painted yellow, blue, and white designs down to the round, hollow base. There are no visible markings or signatures, as many of Egermanns' glass pieces were left unmarked.
