Pair of bowls in silver-plated; inside they are stove-enameled; a beautiful shade of blue has been used; they are articles by Reed & Barton; Reed & Barton was founded in 1824 in Taunton, Massachusetts, making it one of the oldest private silversmiths in the United States; the company is well known for its high-quality production of silver-plated and silver-plated gifts and cutlery; the two bowls were produced between 1905 and 1910, but they were used as a prize at a school event in 1985 for the awarding of illustrious pupils as attested by the engraving on one of them "Y.S.N.
