Offering a remarkable EXTRA-LARGE vintage Chinese porcelain covered saucier with cover and base plate, circa 1960s.It can also be used as a soup tureen.This piece is extra-large in size holding approximately 4 liters of liquid.It weighs over 12 pounds without any liguid...so keep in mind this is a heavy antique saucier and it does not have a hole for a spoon , so most likely it is for sauce or for decoration.

The item has three pieces:the base plate, the bowl, and the cover, all decorated with beautiful pink, yellow, and blue butterflies with pink and lavender blossoming lotus flowers....just gorgeous. Signed in red in Chinese on the bottom of the bowl and base plate.

EXCELLENT CONDITION.All three piece are in perfect condition, without chips, cracks, or scratches.This item came directly out of an estate in Naples, Florida and I was told that it was never used and sat on a shelf for over 50 years....its just perfect!
