Each bowl has a slight flattened surface all around mimicking the wood lacquered rice bowls traditionally used in a Kaiseki dinner. Small gold colored inclusions all around.

The plates,each with a calligraphic brush stroke of an open 'Enso' in a dull gold/bronze to one side. Serve warm or cold dessert, salad, hors d'oeuvre or sauces in the small plates and an entree in the larger plate.
