Late 19th Century English-born ceramic pottery Majolica Pitcher derived from an asparagus design and coloration. Based upon a darker shade of green lifting towards a vibrant textured asparagus-colored exterior. A wrapped design creating a twisting effect on the pitcher adding in volume and darkened hues of grays and black. Finishing off with a light tan top rim and interior.
This Majolica pitcher has visible lines coated upon the external and internal ceramic creating a beautiful layered and textured finish. Slight cracks and chips around the rim of the pitcher which help to display the age of this piece.
Overall normal wear and tear, presents splendidly for its age.
