A very fine and large Rose Canton Chinese Export porcelain platter decorated in a fresh and bright palette of greens, turquoise, orange and pink with a gilt edged ogival medallion in the center. Birds, butterflies, fruit ands flowers abound in the paradisiacal scenery. Very good antique condition with light wear, mainly to the gilt rim. No chips, no marks, as is to be expected of a piece of this date. Mid 19th century.
