A sweet little antique English Staffordshire pitcher, the medium size of a set of 3 found in the estate of a Southern California collector. Raised bas-relief moulded and hand painted cherubs play among the flowers of a garden beneath vining grapes. The hand painted details are so typical of the period and style. Bottom is unmarked, as is typical for pieces fired around this timeframe. The simplicity and detail make this a perfect accompaniment for traditional and cottage home decor styles- playful, unique and representative of the young at heart with a discerning eye for taste!
