Blue Willow - a timeless design with a beautiful love story behind it - has been popular for well over 200 years and made by countless English and American manufacturers. This antique transfer ware platter made by Buffalo Pottery in 1906 has all the elements of traditional Blue Willow: the 2 pagodas, the birds, the people on the bridge, and the prunus and cherry blossom trees, and a wide border of interpreted Chinese designs.

The platter measures 14" x 11" and is in very good antique condition with no chips or cracks or scratches. There is some discoloration on the back as can be seen in the photo. The back is marked with the Buffalo logo as shown.
