Exquisite hand painted Art Nouveau Style with 1” wide blue border accented with white flowers and green leaves. At the border a series of raised gilt gold tiny balls. Along the creaming colored porcelain, a series of black crooked lines representing branches. Along the rim and along the jug handle Art Nouveau stylized lines in gilt gold leaf. Makers mark stamped Nippon on base.
