The Saint-Louis crystal 'Chambord' tall fluted glass is traditionally used for champagne and holds 3.4 ounces. Champagne flutes make great glasses for most any occasion. This heavy crystal mouth blown and hand-cut glass features a hexagonal foot, beveled bell stem, and form adorned with flat cut panels and a ring, center bottom acid etched 'CRISTAL - STLOUIS - FRANCE'.The 'Chambord' collection represents glass making at its most agile, brilliant and versatile. This pattern was introduced in 1974, speculatively inspired by the Chateau de Chambord's tower architecture and the Loire Valley considered home to some of the finest wines known globally.
Since 1586, Saint-Louis is the oldest crystal manufacturer in France, a Royal Glassworks since 1767.
