Late-1930s* Blenko cobalt blue crackle glass decanter with teardrop/flame stopper. Bill Blenko designed the decanter in 1937, and the series remained popular until the 1980s. The decanter is 13 1/2 inches tall, 5 3/4 inches wide, and weighs 2 1/2 lbs.
Please note: The stopper is firmly stuck inside the decanter's mouth. I have refrained from attempting to dislodge the glass stopper because I might break the glass in the process. That said, and because the decanter is entirely intact and without any damage, I've elected to sell the decanter as a display piece. (A buyer who tries to dislodge the stopper does so at his or her own risk.)
An authentic Blenko foil label is adhered to the exterior (about half of the label has worn off). There is a raw pontil on the decanter's underside. In excellent ++ condition.
