Rare footed urn shaped lemonade cup with two handles and lid. Often erroneously called an ice-cream cup. Lemonade cups were made by Wedgwood in biscuit white ware with glazed interior. See Robin Reilly's "Wedgwood - The New Illustrated Dictionary" published by the Antique Collector's Club, Suffolk, England 1995 page 258. See also Elizabeth Bryding Adams' "The Dwight and Lucille Beeson Wedgwood Collection at the Birmingham Museum of Art" 1992 page 316 in which the urn is called a chocolate cup. Impressed mark to the base. Good condition. Measures 4 1/4" tall x 4 1/2" over handles.
