Fabulous vintage glass decanter attributed to Antonio Da Ros, Italy circa 1960's for Cenedese. This rare art glass decanter 8" tall with stopper, 6" without stopper and 3 1/2" at widest point, measurements are approx. This piece is in very nice condition—some normal wear for age.

Antonio Da Ros (b. Venice 1936) was the Artistic Director for Cenedese beginning in 1959.His works were exhibited at the Venice Biennales in 1960, 1962, 1964, 1966, 1968 and 1972.

There are the common wear marks on the bottom or the common imperfections found in any hand-made art glass. Please note there are tiny fleabites inside rim of decanter; had to use loop to detect. Please see the images showing this awesome piece from a great collection! if placed under UV light, it becomes evident that this is a vaseline glass—another indication of the work of Antonio da Ros.
